Twitter Pinterest Electric Picnic apply to Laois County Council for new date for this year’s festival After winning her heat in a time of 1.00.09, Nessa stepped it up in the final and triumphed with a time of 59.52.That followed on from a positive showing in the National Indoor Championships which took place last March – just before the Covid-19 pandemic struck.Taking part in the 400m, Nessa came second in her heat qualifying for the final. In which she came 7th in 55.79 seconds. Athletics, like most other sports, is halted at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.But this will certainly be something for Nessa to look forward to when things get going again.SEE ALSO – Laois pub faces closure after licence renewal application rejected Laois athlete chosen on two Athletics Ireland relay teams Electric Picnic Facebook Nessa Millett Laois athlete Nessa Millet has been selected on two 2021 National relay squads.Millet has been chosen on both the National senior Women’s 4x400m relay and also the National senior mixed 4x400m squad.The St Abban’s athlete has made tremendous progress in recent years and this selection is just rewards for all her endeavours.Back in August, Nessa, who hails from Clogh, just outside Moneenroe on the Kilkenny-Laois border, enjoyed a very positive National Track and Field Championships campaign.She proved unbeatable in the Women’s 400m Hurdles.
